Material & Design: Built to Focus the Heat
The tube is a halogen design with a quartz envelope and a reflective coating. That coating does a simple, useful thing: it directs more radiant energy forward, instead of letting it spill off the sides. So you get better directional heating, and output stays more steady as the element ages. Termination is R7s—standard double-ended. That means the lamp drops right in as a replacement for many existing fixtures. The R7s connection is made for real-world, industrial use. It locks in securely, carries the load reliably, and keeps field wiring from turning into a headache.
Application & Reality Check
This setup was made for compact industrial heating: warming machine guards, drying components, and keeping a small area under control. The upside is high heat density. The catch? Thermal management matters. Make sure your enclosure ventilation is up to the job, or you’ll shorten component life.
